We re experienced Importers .We've been to our factories- and China- countless times. Our factory owners have been here to speak with us regarding product improvement(s). This is what separates Palm Imports from the rest.
The fact that you ordered something from overseas does NOT make you an importer. Well, not by our definition anyway.

For 5 years we have been actively involved with product development of our Roadster and Surrey bicycles- including traveling overseas to ensure our specifications are met... actually.. to ensure YOUR specifications are met- as we listen to our customers and make changes based upon YOUR feedback and needs. We spent countless months developing electric motor kits for our Surries- because many of you wanted this option- we listened and made it happen.

Our bicycles were designed with the rental market in mind- which is why our bicycles are built to YOUR requirements-- the best components are used to ensure years of profitable rental experience. While alot of Surries LOOK the same- if you do some research you will find our components and construction are far superior to many others on the market.

We work close with our customers to keep the price affordable. This was an easy solution to achieve- we just decided to make much less profit then other suppliers ( read more here)

We are one of only a few- if any other- fluid manufacturers- meaning as you require changes and improvements- we make those changes in next production models.

Also- we stock EVERY component of EVERY bicycle we sell- if you need a replacement part- you get a replacement part. Period. We also make replacement parts affordable-unlike other companies.

Unlike other companies- we manufacture and sell bikes- NOT franchises. When you buy our product, ALL of your money goes into product and NOT franchise fees, etc. If you spend 25,000.00 with us- we feel you should receive 25,000.00 in bicycles.

UPDATE:

We've received alot of emails about " OTHER" USA Surrey companies touting their product being MADE IN THE USA
Here's the facts: ALL surries are mainly manufactured in either China, Italy or Bulgaria.
Oh- you can add some parts to these here and try and say " MADE IN THE USA" but the fact is: the frames
and many other components on Surries are made outside the USA.
Most manufacturers hand pick what goes onto their bikes- because using Japanese bearings and other high end parts just makes sense- which is why we use the best components on our Surries. But the fact of the matter is:
We design our  own Surrey- we choose our own parts- and most of the assembly is done outside the USA.
We will NEVER try and lie to our customers and mislead them.
And we don't need to add a fact sheet to our website and try and hide this fact.

Before buying a Surrey Bicycle- call us - we will be happy to discuss the manufacturing process with you- and
discuss which components we use- whether you buy from us- or not.
